# Wormhole 0.3.0

Released October 10, 2026.

### Changed

- The app is now named Wormhole. On first launch, it moves existing data to
  ~/Library/Application Support/Wormhole and keeps a backup of the database.
  Your terminals, notes and settings are preserved.
- Terminals get WORMHOLE_* variables, and agent hooks from earlier versions are updated automatically.
- The app's macOS identifier has changed. You may need to allow notifications
  and grant other permissions again in System Settings. If Wormhole was your
  default terminal, it remains the default.
- To upgrade from 0.2.0 or earlier, download and install Wormhole from the
  website. Later updates can be installed from the app.
